Sophomore Recognition at Final Home Soccer Games
In the final home game for Thunder soccer, presentations and recognitions were given to sophomore students who are graduating from NCC, either to transfer to a 4-year college or university or to start their careers.

We wish them well on their future journeys and thank them for their dedication and contributions during this inaugural season.
As this inaugural season comes to a close, we are incredibly proud of the growth, hard work, and spirit shown by all our athletes. This season marks the beginning of a bright future for Thunder soccer. We also extend our gratitude to the coaching staff for their guidance and leadership throughout this historic season, and to the Thunder fans for their unwavering support.
Men's Soccer:
NCC Thunder fell 1-0 to Southeastern Community College in a tightly contested match. Goalkeeper Charlie Prtenjaca made 11 crucial saves to keep the game within reach. The only goal of the game came from Southeastern, as Thunder gave up a single goal.
Women's Soccer:
The women's team earned a 1-1 draw against Southeastern. After a scoreless first half, Southeastern opened the scoring 20 minutes into the second half. Shortly after, NCC's Ana Reyna answered back with a goal in the very next possession, securing the tie.
Both the men's and women's teams will face Western Iowa Tech on Wednesday, 10/23, in Sioux City, IA, for their final game of the inaugural season. The men's game kicks off at 2:00 p.m., followed by the women's at 4:30 p.m.
